Color temp can be set and the face tone gamma easily maintained to the calibration of the director of photography's meter. Picscan FLS inherently enables easy communication for getting the ‘look’ perfect. With Film capture the DI is a stable reproduction of the negative with all options available in final color timing. For DIT the Picscan LUT can be embedded into dailies allowing the DP, director and producer to see the real thing at the end of the day, along with the art department, makeup and costume.
