A test shot from Camera Red displayed with the
addition of the Picscan FLS LUT.
This Lut (Picscan FLS leader/LUT) was set up
at exactly 3200K and not balanced to the actual
color temperature of the lamps (very few tungsten
lamps burn at 3200k). When Picscan was applied,
the set up displayed the lamps at a slightly
warmer rendering, similar to shooting film with
its’ pre-set color
balance. Shooting Picscan FLS with uncorrected
lamps will give a very neutral rendering, which
can be quite bland or desired. These examples
indicate how accurately Picscan can deliver and
reveal any additional camera filter or lighting
exposure or coloration added in the photography.
